Robert Pattinson may have been just weeks away from proposing marriage to Kristen Stewart when news of her infidelity hit the web. According to a report from Us Weekly, Pattinson had recent purchased a lavish $5 million home that he was planning to share with his "Twilight" co-star.
Last week Stewart admitted that she cheated on Pattinson with Rupert Sanders, the 41-year-old director of "Snow White and the Huntsman." Dina Sansing of Us Weekly magazine spoke on the marriage rumors, saying:
"Friends of Robert have told us that this was the woman that he wanted to spend the rest of his life with and he was actually very close to proposing when he heard about the affair," she said.
