Bucky Covington will try his hand at auto racing August 11 when he joins the Legends Car Race at Nashville's Fairgrounds Speedway. The race will serve as a benefit for the Nashville Local 140 Fire Fighters Relief Fund and Help the Good Guys charities.
In addition to stepping behind the wheel, Bucky will give fans plenty of chances to say hello and enjoy some music at the event.
Festivities kick off with a qualifying race at 2:00 PM followed by autograph sessions with Bucky at 4:00, then a full-band concert at 4:30. After that, Bucky'll jump into his custom designed Legends race car for the main event.
The race comes at a busy time for Covington, who is also currently ramping up for the release of his newest album Good Guys on September 11. That album includes the single "Drinking Side of Country," featuring Shooter Jennings.
