Unilever Plc (UL,ULVR.L,UN) said it priced a double-tranche $1.0 billion bond - $450 million 0.45 per cent Fixed Rate Notes due July 30, 2015 and $550 million 0.85 per cent Fixed Rate Notes due August 2, 2017 - on the U.S. market on July 30.
The company stated that it intends to use the proceeds for general corporate purposes. The anticipated closing date of the offering is August 2, 2012.
