Dr. Paul Nassif, husband of "Real Housewives of Beverly Hills" star Adrienne Maloof, has filed documents to separate legally from his wife, according to court papers obtained by TMZ.
The pair were married on May 2, 2002, and, according the petition for separation, their date of separation is "to be determined." The docs list three children—Gavin, Christian and Collin, and note that there was a prenuptial agreement.
"The welfare of our children is my primary focus as Adrienne and I work through this difficult time. I want the best for her and our children and I hope that everyone can respect our privacy away from the cameras," Nassif told TMZ.
"I'm so sorry that this is happening but my children are my life and sometimes we need to do what's best for them," Bravo star Maloof, 50, told Radar Online, adding, "It's an unfortunate situation but I have to have my kids' best interest at heart."
