Emma Stone has reportedly signed on to appear in the new film from "Almost Famous" director/writer Cameron Crowe. Thus far there a few details about the film, but Deadline.com reports that Crowe is likely to once again write and direct.
The project is in development between Crowe and Sony Pictures and Scott Rudin is reportedly attached to the project as a producer. The role will follow a successful appearance in "The Amazing Spider-Man" for Stone, whose next big screen appearance will be in "Gangster Squad."
The news comes at a busy time for Stone, who recently earned recognition for several of her recent roles at the 2012 Teen Choice Awards. She took home the Choice Comedy Actress for "Crazy, Stupid, Love" and also Choice Drama Actress for "The Help."
