The US dollar recovered from recent downtrend against most of its major counterparts during New York afternoon deals on Tuesday. As of now, the greenback is trading near 0.9775 against the Swiss franc, 78.20 against the yen and 1.2293 versus the euro from early multi-day lows of 0.9744, 78.05 and 1.2331, respectively.
