ServiceSource Int'l Q2 Loss Widens

ServiceSource International Inc. (SREV) Tuesday reported second-quarter net loss of $36.8 million or $0.50 per share, compared to $1.1 million or $0.02 per share last year.

Adjusted net income for the second quarter was $1.5 million or $0.02 per share, compared to $0.6 million or $0.01 per share last year. Analysts polled by Thomson Reuters expected earnings of $0.01 per share for the quarter. Analysts' estimates typically exclude special items.

Revenues for the second quarter grew 23 percent to $59.7 million from $48.5 million last year. Analysts estimated revenues of $59.09 million for the quarter.

Looking forward to the third quarter, the company expects revenues of $57.5 million to $59.5 million, adjusted loss to be between breakeven to a loss of $0.02 per share. Analysts currently estimate earnings of $0.01 per share and revenues of $60.64 million for the quarter.

The company reiterated its full year 2012 guidance of revenue in a range of $246 million to $249 million, adjusted earnings of $0.05 to $0.07 per share. Analysts currently estimate earnings of $0.07 per share and revenues of $248 million.
