Cousins Properties Incorporated (CUZ: Quote) reported second-quarter Funds From Operations, or FFO, of $13.2 million or $0.13 per share, up from last year's FFO of $10.9 million or $0.11 per share in the same period.

Net income available to common stockholders was $6.4 million or $0.06 per share, compared to the net loss of $4.7 million or $0.05 per share.

On average, 6 analysts polled by Thomson Reuters expected the company to earn $0.12 per share for the quarter. Analysts' estimates typically exclude special items.

Revenues for the quarter rose to $45.2 million from $39.9 million last year.

Analysts expected revenues of $37.46 million for the quarter.
