Macaulay Culkin has denied rumors that he is suffering from a heroin addiction. Reps for the "Home Alone" star blasted the media for pushing forth the rumor, which they call "ridiculously ficticious."
"The report is not only categorically without merit, but it is also impossibly and ridiculously fictitious," said Mr Culkin's spokesman. "We beseech the responsible media to consider the source and its reputation and to please not perpetuate this destructive and insulting story by pursuing it any further."
The rumor spread throughout the media after a report appeared in the National Enquirer. The tabloid claimed that Culkin fell into the grips of addiction after cutting ties with his ex-girlfriend Mila Kunis in 2010. Recent photos of an unusually skinny Culkin also added fuel to the spreading rumor.
