Gloriana have released their sophomore album, A Thousand Miles Left Behind. The LP, distributed on the Emblem/Warner Bros. label, features "Kissed You (Good Night)," the trio's first top single.
The album has gotten generally good reviews, with the New York Times striking a pose of pleasant surprise:
"For a group with such lighthearted and sometimes loose ideas about country music, it's a surprise that the album's showstopper is its most dour song. But 'Be Grateful', which falls into a grand country tradition of celebrating the downtrodden, is just that."
Rachel Reinert and brothers Tom and Mike Gossin co-wrote every one of the tracks on the 11-song set from producer Matt Serletic.
"We love the first album, but that was then and this is now for us. Our lives have changed so much. We're the same people at our core, but our environment that we live in is so drastically different," Tom Gossin previously said of the set.
