Keith Urban was on hand for the opening ceremony of the 2012 London Olympics. He shot a pair of brief videos with a handheld device which saw him sitting in the audience with his wife, Nicole Kidman.
"Nic and I are at the @London2012 @NBCOlympics opening ceremonies . . . . OVER THE TOP!!!! -KU," he added by way of Twitter.
Urban and Kidman were special guests at a party held by Omega, the luxury Swiss watchmaker who is in charge of timing the London games. The party, in Soho in central London, featured a dinner and an Olympic viewing in the garden.
According to People, Mr. and Mrs. Urban held hands and looked relaxed as they enjoyed the event.
Before Urban left for London, he was in Nashville where he wrote a new track, "Lucky Charm."
