The company expects to report third quarter EPS of $0.10 to $0.14 and between $0.70 and $0.85 for the full year. The consensus estimates are for EPS of $0.17 and $0.67.
Blue Nile has gapped open sharply higher Friday morning and is now up 9.75 at $33.50. The stock has risen to a month and a half high and has re-crossed its 50-day moving average.
