Elton John will take part in Palladia's fifth annual Outdoor Week, which will document festivals from across the world.
John will appear on Palladia as part of the channel's coverage of the Ibiza 1-2-3 Rocktronic Festival 2012 on Friday, August 31. Coverage of the festival will also feature Pnau.
Outdoor Week's eight-day run will include 24-hour coverage of outdoor festivals beginning August 27. Each night will bring a new premiere, kicking off with a special on Alabama's Hangout Festival, which includes performances from Dave Matthews Band, the Flaming Lips, Coheed and Cambria, Wilco and Alabama Shakes.
The network's event will conclude on Labor Day, September 3, with a look at Lovebox 2012, featuring performances from Chaka Khan, Lana Del Rey, Chic, Hot Chip and more.
