When Pink Floyd performs their legendary hit "Wish You Were Here" at the closing ceremony of the 2012 Olympic Games, not all of the original members will take part.
English songwriter Ed Sheeran revealed that he will be joining Floyd on stage during the festivities, saying in a radio interview that so far only Pink Floyd drummer Nick Mason is confirmed to appear, clarifying that it won't be the full band, as "they don't get on." He goes on to say, though, that "I think they're trying to get someone else."
Rumors persist that either Roger Waters or David Gilmour could be the other Pink Floyd member to take part in the event, but nothing has been confirmed.
The closing ceremonies of the 2012 London Olympic Games takes place Sunday, August 12.
