Kristen Stewart In Talks For 'Lie Down In Darkness'

Kristen Stewart has been attached to the film "Lie Down in Darkness," based on the William Styron novel about the dysfunctional Loftis family and their vexed daughter Peyton (Stewart), according to the Hollywood Reporter.

The role of Peyton in the Scott Cooper ("Crazy Heart") directed pic, however, is a much sought after one. "Hunger Games" star Jennifer Lawrence recently told W magazine that she is "obsessed" with it:

"I am obsessed with that part . . . if someone else gets the part, I'm afraid they won't do it right; they'll make the character a victim or they'll make her a villain or they'll just get it wrong somehow. I'm trying to write the director to convince him that I should be in his movie. I'll chase him if I have to. I'll sit outside his house."

Unfortunately for Lawrence, her plate might be too full—with upcoming parts in the "Hunger Games" sequel and in "X-Men: Days of Future Past."
