Chemed Corp.(CHE: Quote) announced that its Board has declared a quarterly cash dividend of $0.18 per share on the Company's capital stock, payable on September 4, 2012, to shareholders of record as of August 13, 2012.

This is a $0.02, or 12.5%, increase over the $0.16 dividend paid in the second quarter of 2012. The previous dividend increase was in August 2011, when the Board raised the dividend from $0.14 to $0.16 per share.

The company's quarterly earnings per share, excluding items, also came in above analysts' expectations as did its quarterly sales.
