Reba McEntire has spoken out about her new show Malibu Country and she says it has been a "dream come true" to make.
"I love the whole concept of it: moving from Nashville to L.A., which I did in 2001 when we did the 'Reba' TV show," the country icon tells Entertainment Tonight.
The country songstress plays a mother of three, who discovers that her country star husband is cheating. After finding out the bad news, she takes her kids and moves to Malibu, California, where she tries to resurrect her own music career.
Actress and Broadway star Lily Tomlin plays Reba's mother on the program, a casting choice Reba says she was thrilled with:
"I've seen her on Broadway, watched all her movies, saw her on 'Laugh In' . . . Getting to work with her is a dream come true."
Malibu Country is premieres on ABC November 2.
