GSE Holding, Inc. (GSE: Quote) said Friday that Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer William Lacey has resigned.

Lacey will continue to oversee the company's financial operations until a new chief financial officer is hired.

The company said it will begin a search for a new chief financial officer in the near term.

Gap Profit Climbs 43%

Gap Inc. Thursday after the markets closed that its first quarter profit rose 43% from last year, helped by higher sales and improved margins. The company's quarterly earnings per share also came in above analysts' expectations as did its quarterly sales.
