The unlikely duo of Feist and Mastodon have released a new interactive video for "A Commotion" that shows Feist in full destructive mode and lets users slide a cross-fader back and forth between the original song and the Mastodon cover.

The song is taken off of Feist and Mastodon's seven-inch split released this past Record Store Day, which features Feist covering Mastodon's "Black Tongue," and likewise, Mastodon covering her track "A Commotion."

Back in April, Feist spoke with Rolling Stone about the split, saying, "It's a wet dream to have Mastodon take one of my songs and put it into their massive machine."

"We didn't tell her what to do, and she didn't tell us what to do," added Mastodon guitarist Bill Kelliher about how each artist chose which song to cover. "'A Commotion' just kind of stuck out to me. I could hear the opening riff, a single A-note."
