Rush will be inducted into Guitar Center's RockWalk on Sunset Boulevard in West Hollywood, California. The RockWalk pays tribute to historic acts of rock and roll history, and Rush will be inducted alongside fellow Canadian Alanis Morissette.
The walk was inaugurated by the music retail giant in 1985, and inductees make their mark by placing handprints its cement. The inductees are chosen solely by the other artists already inducted and will attend an exclusive invite-only event to celebrate.
Rush and Alanis join and elite group of rockers on the walk, including Eric Clapton, George Martin, Jimmy Page, Iron Maiden, Carlos Santana, Johnny Cash, Van Halen, AC/DC, Aerosmith, Marvin Gaye, James Brown, B.B. King, Stevie Wonder, Run-D.M.C. and Queen.
