Ford Motor Co.(F), Monday raised the hybrid fuel-economy bar through its all new hybrid vehicle-Ford C-MAX. The vehicle certified by the EPA or Environmental protection agency clocks an impressive 47 mpg or miles per gallon both in the city and the highways, a feat achieved only by C-MAX Hybrid considering all the hybrid vehicles so far.
The C-MAX combines over five-hundred hybrid patents and brings down driving costs by an impressive thirty percent. The SUV, which can comfortably seat five passengers, does well with an extended cargo space as well.
By far, the most impressive feature all will agree is the innovative and automatic hands-free liftgate provision. This feature allows one to open the rear bumper with a slow kicking motion under the bumper. This only works when the key fob is in the driver's pockets though.
C-MAX also offers a range of utility functions like voice command recognition that helps one access songs, change indoor climate and navigate among other things.
With unsubsidized and ever increasing fuel prices, the fuel economic C-MAX with a base price of $25,995, that includes both destination and delivery.
