Fossil Inc. (FOSL) Jumped To A 3-Month High Following Q2 Report

Fossil Inc. (FOSL) reported second quarter EPS of $0.92 Tuesday morning, up from $0.80 in the prior year period. The consensus estimate was for EPS of $0.78. The company expects to report third quarter adjusted EPS of $1.15 to $1.17 and between $5.29 and $5.34 for the full year. The consensus estimates are for EPS of $1.37 and $5.28.

Fossil gapped open sharply higher Tuesday and climbed during the first half hour of trade, before settling into a narrow range. The stock finished up by 21.98 at $91.77 on above average volume. Fossil rose to a 3-month high and re-crossed its 50-day moving average.
