BroadSoft Inc. (BSFT: Quote) reported second quarter non-GAAP EPS of $0.33 after the bell Monday, up from $0.27 in the prior year period. The consensus estimate was for EPS of $0.21. The company expects to report third quarter non-GAAP EPS of $0.27 to $0.33 and between $1.30 and $1.40 for the full year. The consensus estimates are for EPS of $0.31 and $1.25.
BroadSoft gapped open sharply higher Tuesday, but was range-bound throughout the session. The stock closed up by 9.55 at $37.45 on the highest volume of the year. BroadSoft leaped to a 3-month high Tuesday and re-crossed its 200-day moving average.
