Croatia's producer price inflation in the domestic market remained broadly unchanged in July, after easing modestly in the previous month, data released by the Bureau of Statistics showed Wednesday.

The domestic producer price index increased 6.9 percent on an annual basis in July, little changed from the previous month's 7 percent rise. In May, the rate of growth was 7.2 percent.

Prices in the manufacturing sector advanced 1.6 percent annually during the month, while mining and quarrying prices climbed 45.2 percent. There was an 19.9 percent year-on-year increase in the production of electricity, gas, steam and air conditioning.

Overall output prices, including both the domestic market and the export market grew 5 percent year-on-year in July, while prices in the export market rose 1.6 percent, data showed.

On a monthly basis, domestic output prices edged up 0.1 percent in July, reversing the previous month's 0.4 percent decrease.
