Extending gains, the yen climbed against the euro and the Swiss franc in the European session on Wednesday.
The yen hit 2-day highs of 80.55 against the Swiss franc and 96.73 versus the euro with 80.00 and 96.00 seen as the next upside target levels, respectively.
