United Continental Holdings July Traffic Down 2.8% - Quick Facts

United Continental Holdings Inc. (UAL: Quote) reported that its consolidated traffic, measure in revenue passenger miles, for July 2012 decreased 2.8 percent to 19.91 billion from 20.48 billion in the same month last year.

Consolidated capacity, measure in available seat miles, for the month of July decreased 2.1 percent to 23.00 billion from 23.49 billion in the year ago month.

Consolidated passenger load factor was 86.6%, down 0.6 points from 87.2% in the same month last year.

After showing a lack of direction throughout much of the session, stocks ended Monday's trading modestly lower.
