Williams Controls Q3 Profit Slips

Williams Controls Inc. (WMCO: Quote) Wednesday reported a decline in profit for the third quarter, due mainly to lower revenues.

The Portland, Oregon-based company's third-quarter net profit was $845 thousand or $0.11 per share, compared to $1.51 million or $0.20 per share last year.

Total revenues for the quarter dropped to $16.38 million from $16.77 million in the prior-year quarter.
