It turns out that Judas Priest might have a little gas left in the tank as the band are currently hard at work on new music according to legendary frontman Rob Halford.
"I'm of the attitude it'll be ready when it's ready," Halford told Billboard. "I don't think we're going to slack off. We're determined to do a lot of work and be just as dedicated as we've always been and take a lot of care and attention with all the songs. We're not going to just bang this one out, so to speak."
Halford added that he and guitarist Glen Tipton already have new material put together, and added that Richie Faulkner, who replaced guitarist K.K. Downing last year, will likely contribute as well. Halford said his "gut feeling" tells him the new album will be ready for release sometime next year.
