Black Sabbath's Tony Iommi and Deep Purple's Ian Gillan are joining forces for WhoCares, a new two disc set that features unreleased and rare tracks from each member's respective pasts.
WhoCares features two charity singles Iommi and Gillan recorded in 2011, "Out of My Mind" and "Holy Water," when the legendary duo teamed with Metallica's Jason Newstead, late Deep Purple keyboardist Jon Lord, Iron Maiden's Nicko McBrain and H.I.M.'s Linde Lindstrom.
Other notable tracks include an unreleased studio jam by Deep Purple, a song from Gillan's sideband, Repo Depo, which never released an official song prior to this set, and "Zero the Hero," from Born Again, the only Sabbath album to feature Gillan on lead vocals. Two unreleased songs by Iommi, featuring Glenn Hughes, are included as well.
