Rumors are swirling that Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie are planning to tie the knot this weekend in France. According to a new report from the U.K.'s Daily Mail the couple have begun preparations for a huge party at their French estate Chateau Miraval.
The couple announced their engagement in April after years of questions about their plans to wed. Britain's The Sun also reports that Brad and Angie have told locals that the party is a 50th wedding anniversary celebration for Brad's parents Jane and Bill Pitt. The tabloid adds, however, that the couple have exchanged high priced pre-wedding gifts including a Patek Phillip watch for Brad.
French television station France 3 Cote d'Azur has also reported that the party is, in fact, for the wedding and everyone in their town is aware of the festivities:
"Everyone in town is talking about it; in Correns [the small village near Miraval], it's common knowledge that the wedding is happening soon," a source tells the station.
