Warwick Valley Telephone Company (WWVY), also known as WVT Communications Group, reported a second-quarter net loss applicable to common stock of $235,000 or $0.04 per share, slightly narrower than the year-ago net loss of $247,000 or $0.05 per share.
Total operating revenues for the latest quarter rose 19 percent to $6.9 million from $5.8 million last year.
The company attributed the increase in revenue to the consolidation of financial results for the acquisition of Alteva and organic unified communications services revenue growth.
