Imperva Inc. (IMPV) Surged To A 3-Month High After Narrower Q2 Loss

Imperva Inc. (IMPV) reported a second quarter non-GAAP loss of $0.02 per share after the bell Thursday, compared to the loss of $0.16 per share in the prior year. The company expects to report a third quarter non-GAAP loss of $0.02 to $0.03 per share and a non-GAAP loss of $0.11 to $0.13 per share for the full year.

Imperva rose steadily until midday Friday and took out the session highs late in the afternoon. The stock finished up by 6.92 at $33.08, with volume at a 2 1/2 month high. Imperva surged to a 3-month high and re-crossed its 50-day moving average.
