C.H. Robinson Declares Dividend, Boosts Stock Buyback Authorization

C.H. Robinson Worldwide, Inc. (CHRW: Quote) said Friday that its Board of Directors has declared a regular quarterly cash dividend of $0.33 per share, payable on October 1 to shareholders of record on September 7.

As of August 10, there were about 161.32 million shares outstanding. In addition, C.H. Robinson said its Board of Directors has increased the company's share repurchase authorization by up to an additional 10 million shares of common stock.

The company had about 2.5 million shares remaining under its share repurchase authorization which was authorized by the Board in 2009.

The 10 million share repurchase authorization represents about 6.2% of the company's shares outstanding on August 10.
