Ark Restaurants Corp. (ARKR: Quote) reported that its third-quarter income was $2.96 million or $0.90 per share, up from $2.31 million or $0.65 per share in the same quarter last year.

Total revenues for the quarter were $38.99 million versus $38.75 million last year. The prior year's revenues include $1.86 million related to two properties closed in 2012.

Company-wide same store sales for the quarter increased 4.0% compared to the same three month period last year.
