Trey Songz says that his pal Drake—who recently unveiled a posthumous collab, "Enough Said," with deceased singer Aaliyah—ought to go ahead with the project.
Debate on the topic prompted Aaliyah's family to weigh-in, saying they do not endorse it; however, Trigga says Drizzy is the man for the job:
"I think the song is dope," said Trey. "It's good to hear Aaliyah's voice. Just the concept of the song was dope and just to hear her singing completely unheard lyrics was amazing to me."
Trey added that, while he'd like to see Timbaland and Missy Elliott on board, he's not sure of the rights situation:
"I think that's the best way to do it, but you don't know the particulars on what's going around. You don't know who owns her music, you don't know any of that."
