The Canadian dollar erased its early Tuesday Asian session gains against the currencies of US, Europe and Japan.
The loonie thus eased from a 4-day high of 79.15 against the yen and is now worth 78.99.
Against the greenback and euro, the loonie is currently trading at 0.9934 and 1.2265, compared to early highs of 0.9917 and 1.2236, respectively.
