A film, whose subject is the late AC/DC singer Bon Scott, is currently in the works. Rob Liotti, the frontman for AC/DC cover band TNT, wrote the script for the docu-drama entitled, Bon Scott: the Legend of AC/DC.
Speaking with Classic Rock, Liotti says maintaining "authenticity" was one of his "biggest challenges":
"This is an American production of an ostensibly Australian-based story. Dialect is highly important, as well as capturing the true dynamic of the band and its members."
"Australians claim 'ownership' of the band and Bon, so there are high expectations to be met from the outset. But it's a story that deserves to be told," he added.
Bon Scott: the Legend of AC/DC, from High Voltage Productions, went into pre-production in March.
