Olympic swimming star Ryan Lochte has reportedly agreed to appear as a guest star on an upcoming episode of "90210." According to a new report from hollywoodreporter.com, Lochte will appear as himself in an episode airing on October 29.
Executive producers Patti Carr and Lara Olsen broke the news in a statement saying they were thrilled to welcome the multi-medalist onto the show:
"When we found out Ryan Lochte was going to be in town and might appear on 90210, we felt like we'd won a gold medal!" they explained. "Team USA are all-stars in our book, and we're so excited he's making an appearance on the show. We only wish the episode was a surf event so we could have gotten him in the water, but he deserves a little rest on dry land."
"90210" may not be the only television show to score gold with Lochte, however, as he recently told "Today" on NBC that he's entertaining other offers as well:
"I'm definitely looking toward Dancing With the Stars and The Bachelor, so we'll see what happens," he said during a recent interview.
