Rush is prepping the dual launch of their new album, Clockwork Angels, and the novel of the same name that is based on the album, co-written by Rush drummer Neil Peart and author Kevin J. Anderson.

To mark the release of the book, Anderson will host a book signing at the John and Richmond Chapters in Toronto, Ontario, Canada on Thursday, August 23 at 7:00 p.m.

"I'll be in Toronto as a guest at Fan Expo throughout the weekend, but this event — open to the general public — will be the first time the novel is available for sale," writes Anderson on his blog. "I will give a talk, answer questions, and autograph books . . . lots of them, I hope!"

The U.S. book launch will be held a week later on August 31 at DragonCon in Atlanta.

Rush will then kick off their Clockwork Angels North American tour in Manchester, New Hampshire on September 7.
