The Japanese yen traded further lower against the Canadian dollar during early Asian deals on Thursday. The yen declined to a fresh multi-month low of 79.91 versus the yen at around 5:05 pm ET, compared to yesterday's new York session close of 79.86. At present, the pair is worth 79.84.
