Interdealer broker ICAP Plc (IAP.L,IAPLY.PK,IAPLF.PK) Thursday announced an internal reorganization creating a single, global voice broking division to reflect the changing nature of its business and serve customers more effectively.
ICAP has so far operated its broking business on a regional basis in the Americas, EMEA and Asia Pacific.
The reorganization will enable the group to execute a global strategy for voice and hybrid broking services. The division will be renamed "Global Broking" from "Voice."
The new division will be run by David Casterton as CEO Global Broking. He was most recently CEO of the EMEA voice business.
Doug Rhoten becomes Chairman of ICAP Americas. He will be directly responsible for several most senior customer relationships. He will also be in charge of managing ICAP's Brazilian operations as well as strategy and leadership of ICAP's responses to upcoming regulatory changes.
