CompuCredit Holdings Corp. (CCRT) announced after the bell Wednesday that it has commenced a cash tender offer for up to 8,250,000 shares of its outstanding common stock, at a purchase price of $10.00 per share.
CompuCredit Holdings gapped open sharply higher Thursday morning and is now up 1.92 at $6.94 on strong volume. The stock has leaped to a new high for the year.
