8/16/2012 3:30 PM ET

Bad Company vocalist Paul Rodgers will join the 2013 Rock Meets Classic tour for its trip through Europe, scheduled for February and March.

Rock Meets Classic showcases classic rock artists of the '70s and '80s performing their hits backed by a full-on rock band and an orchestra. Along with Bad Company, Rodgers has fronted Free and even Queen at one point, so there are a plenty of songs that audiences can expect to hear when attending.

Behind Rodgers will be a full orchestra along with The Mat Sinner Band featuring Mat Sinner (bass), Alex Beyrodt (guitars) and Ralf Scheepers (backing vocals), Amanda Somerville (backing vocals), Avantasia's Oliver Hartmann (guitars), Jimmy Kresic (keyboards), Tiffany Krikland (backing vocals), Verena Schock (backing vocals), and Martin Schmidt (drums).

Artists that have taken part in previous tours include Ian Gillan (Deep Purple), Dan McCafferty (Nazareth), and Lou Gramm (Foreigner).
