Jonny Greenwood Confirms Release Date For The Master OST

Radiohead's Jonny Greenwood has confirmed both the release date and track list for his upcoming soundtrack to the Paul Thomas Anderson film, The Master.

The Master soundtrack is set for a September 11 release date on Nonesuch Records, three days before the film's opening on September 14.

The soundtrack will feature 11 original Greenwood compositions, six of which were performed by the London Contemporary Orchestra. Also on the soundtrack are recordings from the film's era (the 1950s) including Ella Fitzgerald, Jo Stafford and Madisen Beaty.

Greenwood created the score for Anderson's last film, There Will Be Blood.

The Master will star Phillip Seymour Hoffman, Joaquin Phoenix and Amy Adams. The film is based loosely on the story of L. Ron Hubbard and the early days of Scientology.
