Rank Group FY Adjusted Profit Before Tax Rises On Higher Revenues - Quick Facts

Rank Group Plc (RNK.L) Friday released the preliminary results for the 18-month period ended 30 June 2012 and financial results for the 12-month period ended 30 June 2012, reporting rise in Group operating profit and adjusted profit before tax in comparison with the corresponding 12-month period ended 30 June 2011, on slight increase in Group Revenue.

The Group has reported operating profit before exceptional items for the 12 months ended 30 June 2012 of 65.5 million pounds, 4.1 percent higher than operating profit of 62.9 million pounds reported for the comparative 12-monthn period ended 30 June 2011.

Adjusted profit before tax for the year increased 9.0 percent to 61.5 million pounds from 56.4 million pounds reported for the corresponding 12-month period ended 30 June 2011.

Adjusted earnings per share for the 12-month period ended 30 June 2012 increased 13.7 percent to 11.6 pence from 10.2 pence per share reported for the same period i9n the previous year.

Group Revenue for the year increased 3.4 percent to 600.5 million pounds from 580.7 million pounds reported for the previous year.

Stocks have shown a notable move to the downside in early trading on Friday amid lingering concerns about the outlook for the Federal Reserve's asset purchase program. The report said durable goods orders surged up by 3.3 percent in April after tumbling by a revised 5.9 percent in March. The popular e-mail management app Mailbox, developed by Orchestra Inc., has been updated to be compatible with Apple's iPad. Orchestra disclosed the news of the update through its official blog. "You asked, we listened. Mailbox is now available for iPad, so you can swipe your way to inbox zero on all your iOS devices," Orchestra's brief blog read.
