ChipMOS Technologies Turns To Profit In Q2 - Quick Facts

ChipMOS Technologies (Bermuda) LTD. (IMOS: Quote) reported that, on a US GAAP basis, net income attributable to the company for the second quarter of 2012 was US$10.1 million or US$0.36 per share, compared to a net loss of US$0.1 million or US$0.01 per share, for the second quarter of 2011.

Net revenue on a US GAAP basis for the second quarter of 2012 was US$162.1 million, an increase of 3.4% from US$156.7 million for the second quarter of 2011.

The company expects revenue growth of approximately 4% to 8% for the third quarter 2012, as compared to the second quarter of 2012, with a further improvement in gross margin on a consolidated basis in the range of approximately 12% to 18%.
