According to Jeremy Spencer, drummer for Five Finger Death Punch, the band will be recording this summer while on their 2012 Trespass America tour.

"We have a portable studio on tour, so when have some down time and feel creative, we get to document ideas," Spencer told Audio Ink Radio.

"After the festival, that's when we're really going to get serious and lock ourselves away and focus on the next album, and we're hoping to get something out by next summer," he added.

Guitarist Jason Hook, in a separate interview with Billboard added that the band already has "probably six to eight songs worked up":

"The idea behind that is just to keep the creative muscle worked out," Hook said.

The Trespass America tour begins at Broomfield, Colorado's 1st Bank Center on July 13.
