Oplink Communications Inc. (OPLK: Quote) reported fourth quarter adjusted EPS of $0.19 after the close Thursday, down from $0.28 last year. The consensus estimate was for EPS of $0.12. First quarter non-GAAP EPS is expected to be between $0.16 and $0.22, compared to the consensus estimate of $0.15.
Oplink Communications gapped open higher Friday and climbed during the first half hour of trade. The stock finished up by 2.05 at $16.31 on the highest volume of the year. Oplink Communications broke out to a 3 1/2 month high and re-crossed its 200-day moving average.
