Joe Perry of Aerosmith fame has signed a deal to write a memoir, which will give his side of the band's story. In an interview, Perry said fans can expect to get a good dose of info regarding the band's other members — especially Steven Tyler:
"I expect there will be a fair amount about me and Steven [Tyler], considering I've spent a good part of my life with him and three other guys," Perry told the Atlanta Journal-Constitution.
"The reality of writing it is starting to sink in, but I'm mostly wondering how much I want to put in the book and what to keep out," he added.
The yet-to-be-titled memoir is tentatively scheduled for a fall 2013 release. The band is also in the midst of discussing a 2013 world tour.
