Toby Keith has offered some industry-related advice to his daughter, Krystal Keith, a budding country star in her own right.
He told a Riverside, California radio station that the best advice he's given her is to "sign with me," adding that he could "save her some of the heartache, and protect her a little bit from media."
In a separate interview with the same station, Krystal noted that her dad, despite his hectic schedule, has always been an attentive father:
"My dad made sure that we didn't notice when he was gone. He would always make time for us . . . [I can] not recall a time when he wasn't there."
Krystal's yet-to-be-titled debut, distributed on Toby's Show Dog-Universal label, is still in the works. The project will be produced by Toby and Mark Wright.
